Mystic Aquarium Concludes Dog Days of Summer
The popular program that shows aquarium guests how animal handlers work with their four-legged or finned partners is over for this summer.
Ledyard police officers and their K9 partners participated in Mystic Aquarium's popular "Dog Days of Summer" program for the second year. This Monday concluded the program for this year. The program included demonstrations by animal handlers of police dogs, pet dogs, sea lions and beluga whales who showed off the skills and the hard work behind their animals' skills.
The Mystic Aquarium ran special demonstrations every Monday in the month of August.
