Geary said Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones filmed right outside her shop. "I could've reached out and touched them."

She said a lot of the film's crew are buying coffee and sandwiches. "They have been so nice. And we were interviewed on Channel 8 last night!"

Tom Rezendes, owner of , also said the crew is giving him a lot of business.

"I'd say traffic is up 10 percent," he said. "Business is good. The crew has been supporting the store. Chips, sodas, snacks, cigarettes - cigarettes are a lot cheaper here than in New York. It has been very interesting."

Charles T. Clark, a borough resident, said the filming Wednesday was fun to watch and not at all disruptive.

"It gives us something to talk about other than ourselves," he said while sitting at the Nor'easter Diner (AKA ) for breakfast. "It is fascinating to see all these people in the borough who you never see."
