Fuel Report: Lowest Gas Price Around $3.79

In Connecticut, the average gallon of regular gasoline costs $$4.07, according to AAA's "Fuel Gauge Report," with the mid-grade at $$4.24, premium at $$4.35 and diesel at $$4.22.
Things are bad, but could be worse: The highest-ever recorded price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the Nutmeg State was $4.39—on July 9, 2008.
