There's a Nor'easter Headed Our Way

The storm is expected to hit Stonington Wednesday morning and last through Thursday, but the exact strength — and snow amounts — remain unclear, according to the National Weather Service.

A nor'easter developing along the mid-Atlantic is forecast to hit our area Wednesday morning — exactly how bad it will be is still up in the air, though.

With the storm expected to intensify as it slowly tracks east, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for New London county.

"Significant snow possible for southeast Connecticut," the weather service stated.
