Guided tours and discussion of Shared Memories a traveling exhibition project by Migdalia Salas and Mark McKee.  Shared Memories is an exhibit of block prints informed by a visual language and scholarship that assembles memory fragments creating a heritage informed by Yoruba-based mythology, their philosophy and aesthetic legacy.


Shared Memories consists of a three-part traveling exhibition, a limited edition artist book installation titled ELEGGUA , a limited edition portfolio-  La Sagrada Familia / The Sacred Family and recent works by Imna Arroyo. 


This project includes the work of writers and visual artist from Cuba and the United States of America.  It is supported through a collaboration with cultural and academic institutions in Cuba and the United States including, Casa Africa de la Habana, Taller Experimental de la Grafica de la Habana, Eastern Connecticut State University,  Hispanic Alliance of Eastern Connecticut and the MS17 Initiative.
