Free Valentine's Day Weddings at Olde Mystic Village

(Mystic, Conn.) — Connecticut Justice of the Peace, Marie Tyler Wiley will once again be on hand in Mystic to perform free wedding ceremonies for couples this February 14th-- Valentine’s Day.

Couples can come to the Meeting House at Olde Mystic Village from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wiley will perform an individual ceremony for them. The only requirement is the couple MUST present an official wedding license from the Town of Stonington.  Licenses can be obtained at Stonington Town Hall, which is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"On the most romantic day of the year, I love to give couples who are ready to take the plunge, but may have limited resources, a special and unique wedding experience” says Tyler-Wiley.

Olde Mystic Village offers the space free of charge for the day each year.

This will be the 6th year that Wiley has performed the Valentines Day love fest and she’s married dozens of happy couples each year.  Additionally, for the first time, a professional photographer will be on hand and couples can purchase photographs if they choose.
