L&M Auxiliary Holds Fundraising Sock Hop

The Auxiliary of Lawrence & Memorial (L&M) Hospital
is holding a Sock Hop on Saturday, July 26th from 7-10 pm at the New
London Elks Lodge. Music will be provided by the George Holmes Ensemble, “The
Classics”. Tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased by calling Gay
Clarkson at 860-574-9507 or Brenda Kramer at 860-447-3662. All proceeds will
benefit programs at L&M Hospital.

The Auxiliary of Lawrence + Memorial Hospital was
established in 1914. For 100 years, this dedicated group has been supporting
the Hospital as it pursues its mission of improving the health of the region.
Since its inception, the Auxiliary has raised more than $2 million for the
Hospital -- funding that is often essential for supporting ongoing programs and
services. Fundraising events have purchased
equipment or provided financial support for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
(NICU), parenting programs, massage and alternative health programs, the
chaplaincy, Career Day, the magazine cart, the sewing group, blood pressure
monitoring, the women’s heart health initiatives, the Cancer Center, and much
more.
