Firefighters Talkin’ Turkey and Stuffin’ Stockings

The Old Mystic Fire Department’s annual Holiday Food Drive is underway. Benefitting both the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center and the Groton Department of Human Services, firefighters hope to rake in the donations for the neediest in our communities.

Non-perishable food items, new and unwrapped toys and gifts for children and monetary donations, which will be used to purchase turkeys, are all welcome.  If you donate the latter, please make checks payable to the Old Mystic Fire Department.

Donation drop-off locations include the Old Mystic Fire Department headquarters, 295 Cow Hill Road, OMFD Station 1, located at 21 North Stonington Road, the Old Mystic General Store, at 47 Main St. in Old Mystic and McQuade’s Market, at 14 Clara Drive in Mystic.
