Thirty-Nine Students Earn AP Scholar Awards

The College Board recognized Stonington High School students for their performance on Advanced Placement Exams.

The College Board recently recognized 39 Stonington High School students for their performances on the Advanced Placement (AP) Exams.

According to a press release from Stonington High School, Christopher Blanchard, Victoria Cross, Melanie Floyd, Andrew Han, Amy Manning, Katharine Murphy, Alexander Schroeder, and Erika Towne qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award. All eight students received an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Students MacKenzie Angus, Christian Rogerson, and Kyle Roseman qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

And Katherine Edelman, Ryan Feeney, Elias Gharios, Peter Guzzo, Elizabeth Keller, Alexandra Konicki, Thomas Mathews, Jordana McCallen, Hope Rezendes, and Thaddeus Spencer  (Class of 2012), Lauren Eisenbeis, Eric Fast, Audrey Jones, Lucy Schlink, and Elena Wostrel qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of 3 or higher.

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
