Stonington High School's New Colors
The new turf on Palmer Field at Stonington High School has been rolled out.
The "Legion" turf at Stonington High School is nearly complete! The light and dark green color blocks have been rolled out and looks like they'll match Stonington's brown and white quite nicely. The football field appears to only need some finishing touches before the season begins.
The $1,066,219 project also includes a structural strengthening of the surface. Existing sprinkler systems installed in the current natural-grass field will be ripped out.
