Dan Price, Neighbor

I have been an amateur chef, wine buff, and artist for many years. I started doing cooking demonstrations at the Goose several years ago, and fell in love with the store.  Recently, I left the Advertising business, and had the opportunity to come back to the Goose as one of the managers.   It is kind of nice to have come full circle – from working in restaurants in college, to a full time art and Advertising career, and now, back to  something I love – cooking!

One thing I have learned 0ver the years of doing demo’s at the Goose,  most people love to cook, but often don’t have the right equipment to make it enjoyable!  Plus, people tend to think restaurant quality meals are beyond their capabilities – they usually are quite surprised when they find out how easy it is to make awesome meals.  I love to show them that with the right tools, and some extremely simple techniques – anyone can make gourmet meals, every day!  My other food blog,  www.everydayeasygourmet.blogspot.com has about 50 recipes and counting- plus some wine reviews as well.
