Donahue Park Summer Concert Series

Summer is fast approaching! This year in anticipation of the opening of our newly renovated Donahue Park in Downtown Pawcatuck, I am proud to announce the creation of the first ever Donahue Park Summer Concert Series in Downtown Pawcatuck.  This two date concert series will take place on July 15th and August 5th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Donahue Park. These concerts are free and open to the public! I want to thank all our great sponsors and staff that helped create this initiative.

Our first band on July 15th hails from Long Island, NY. Bad Medicine has spent the last seven years establishing themselves as one of the most sought after tribute shows in the nation. The band boasts five top-tier musicians whose shared musical histories include Thin Lizzy, Dio, Great White and Brett Michaels. Incredible musicianship and vocal talents blended together with Steve Sage's uncanny resemblance to Bon Jovi allow Bad Medicine to be hailed as the number one BON JOVI TRIBUTE IN THE US.

Further securing their elite status, Bad Medicine is billed as the only tribute band hired by Jon Bon Jovi's Philly Soul Organization, and has been hired for Bon Jovi fan club events (run by Jon's family). Performing around the country in some of the nation's most revered venues (HOB, BB Kings, Harrah's, Westbury Music fair) and events, Bad Medicine continues to hold audiences captive. There is only one band who truly captures Bon Jovi's distinctive look and sound..BAD MEDICINE.

Our second band on August 5th is our favorite local party band SUGAR! They perform at many wonderful local venues and will lighten downtown!

This Summer Concert Series will give the community and families a chance to get together, patronize the downtown local merchants and enjoy the sights and sounds of a variety of music in the park. The concerts will also include several vendors on site. This Summer Concert Series  is a continuance of my “Downtown Pawcatuck Revitalization Initiative” Come join us!
